This was frustrating in so many ways. It's just a bunch of bull feces.
Firstly, the big "He Had Quit Smoking" and the guy in the picture are the first elements that attract your attention. Immediately, this makes the picture on a somewhat personal level - about this man who quit smoking. The picture was probably intending to provide a kind of "general picture" but fails entirely in doing so with the title.
"He Had Quit Smoking" makes you wonder, who is this guy? How much did he even used to smoke? I can bet this is just a random picture of a healthy-looking man, making it a big lie to the people's faces. In reality, other health problems often arise when a heavy smoker quits smoking.Secondly, those "facts" on the sides - just ridiculous. The English is just so shamefully dreadful. I mean, just look carefully at the "After 1 Year" box. There's no way to be convincing with cheap and incorrect language use - and "but the intentions were good" is completely invalid in this case.
What about the information they contain? There are absolutely no references where it comes from, and there's absolutely no information on amounts and time span of smoking. For what I know, this guy might have smoked a cigarette a day, and those are his recovery times.
The layout of the whole picture is an abomination too. Everything is squeezed, and the quality is crap. It just suggests that a young person who was bad to their mom made this to feel good about themselves.
Lastly, why do people even share it? Why are they so blind at the ineffectiveness and insulting effort of the picture? "Oh, it might influence one person" they might say, or "I just wish good for my friend". My my, you have such a golden heart. Your smoking buddies will roll their eyes at this, and sigh in annoyance.
